OCAVA-in-Rome Summer Program June 14 to July 5, 2015. Following the great success from the previous years, OCAVA announces the OCAVA-in-Rome 2015 Summer Program for singers in Rome, Italy. The carefully chosen young vocal artists from the United States and abroad will come to Rome to work closely with an internationally renowned faculty on this intensive three-week program that combines daily voice lessons, master classes, lectures/workshops, group discussions, public concerts, and Italian language study. The Kristin Lewis Foundation Vocal Scholarship Auditions provide financial awards to young singers who demonstrate the potential for careers in opera performance. Singers will also have the opportunity to become coached in singing technique, diction, interpretation, style, and presentation with professionals in their fields. One singer will be eligible to receive a Stipendium covering all expenses for one week of vocal training in Vienna, Austria. Four singers will eligible to receive financial awards toward their professional pursuits.

The Manhattan Opera Studio is holding auditions for its upcoming 2015 Summer Festival in Manhattan, New York. The objective of this program is to train young singers through real opera performances, building their artistic skills, their stage experience, and exposing them to managers and professionals of the operatic world. All the selected singers will spend one month of intensive rehearsals, coachings and masterclasses with some of the most prestigious professionals in the field, concluding with a final performance of a fully staged opera with orchestra. The goal of the Miami Opera Institute is to provide every singer with the opportunity to study and perform a role in a full opera production with orchestra. Participants receive vocal lessons, masterclasses and coachings by the festival's faculty in order to prepare them for their upcoming performances. For singers and pianists in residence in Florence, Italy: the opportunity to immerse oneself in the study of Bel Canto, a style of singing and playing rich in vocal and orchestral traditions handed down from generation to generation. The International Young Artists Project is a month-long intensive (June 20-July19) based in Monte San Savino, Italy, that explores opera, musical theater and art song.
