Featured Listing: Manhattan Opera Studio

The Manhattan Opera Studio is a one month intensive training program aimed at developing the artistic skills of young opera singers. All the selected artists will have the opportunity to sing a fully staged opera with orchestra  They will also participate in an aria concert at The National Opera Center, have masterclasses with some of the most important agents of New York City, feedback auditions with conductors, directors and managers, vocal advice, and coachings in music and diction.

The goal of this program is to help young singers gain exposure and training through performing. Opera is a practical art and it requires practical experience. Throughout this training the selected artists will have a real preparation experience and will meet some of the most prestigious professionals of this field, opening new opportunities and learning by their knowledge and advice. Using the most advanced recording technologies, the Manhattan Opera Studio will broadcast all the performances and the artists will be able to get a high definition DVD recording of their performance.

In the 2015 edition we will be casting all roles for 2 of the following operas:
Alcina by G. Händel
Don Giovanni by W. A. Mozart
Le Nozze di Figaro by W. A Mozart
Falstaff by G. Verdi
