Each 3-day session consists of one-on-one coachings working on interpretation, repertoire, style as well as the art of performing online. This comprehensive program provides singers the opportunity to sing for distinguished, industry professionals. The American Traditions Vocal Competition has announced they will change course for 2021 and hold their 28th annual vocal competition virtually from February 9-19, 2021. Singers will still perform nine different genres of American music and will be eligible to receive almost $40,000 in prizes. Following the audio-only application, 28 singers will be selected as Quarterfinailsts. Each contestant will have planning sessions with AD and A/V teams, as well as rehearsals for filming, recording and preparation, and will receive either $300 or recording equipment, depending on need.
