The Toronto Summer Music Academy is a one-of-a-kind educational opportunity for chamber musicians and singers 18-35 years old, on the threshold of a professional career. Academy Fellows attend the TSM Academy on full scholarship covering tuition, studying and performing with international guest artists in various concerts throughout the Festival. Fellows are billeted with Toronto Summer Music supporters, eat lunch together daily, and are guests at all Festival concerts.

The Georg Solti Accademia (GSA), heralded by Opera Now as providing "the finest training” for outstanding young opera singers and repetiteurs, is now accepting applications for its 2020 courses. We offer outstanding, fully-funded courses for both singers and repetiteurs aimed at providing them with the skills and knowledge they need to reach their full potential as artists. For over 40 seasons, The Ohio Light Opera has dedicated itself to the exploration and production of the best of traditional operetta and musical theater. This includes the complete Gilbert and Sullivan repertoire, as well as the recognized treasures from the Viennese, French, Hungarian, German, and American repertoire. The 40 performing artists who make up the vocal ensemble are chosen for their abilities to perform and work at the highest level in all disciplines demanded by the company’s specialized repertoire. Application deadlines for singers for the 2020 Festival Season are approaching quickly. Deadlines vary by audition location with deadlines for major cities like New York and Chicago coming quickly.

The Saengerbund Awards seek to support rising professional artists and to encourage the study and performance of German vocal repertoire. Applications for Pittsburgh Festival Opera's newly restructured Young Artists Program are now OPEN! The Young Artists Program is no longer a tuition-based program. Instead, singers are selected through national auditions to be invited to participate in the Pittsburgh Festival Opera summer season and paid a stipend and provided housing for the festival’s duration. The variety of nurturing experiences, an intensified performance period, and exposure to professional artists in the field allows YAPs to focus on education through performance. Young Artists will perform and cover appropriate roles in all mainstage productions.

Take center stage in your own concert or production as Opera on the North Shore showcases talents from around the world; offering soloists & companies a unique platform to introduce themselves to new audiences! The festival takes place in Peabody (MA) May 28-31, 2020, with an opening Gala May 28 followed by three full days of performances across three venues. Soloists and companies are invited to apply to perform during the festival, which is also an opportunity to network with other artists and professionals from around the world. Technical and video support (including recording and professional live streaming) are provided. Festival musicians, as well as an extended roster of local musicians/conductors, are also available to performers.
