The 2020 Saengerbund Awards: Deadline Dec 1!

The Saengerbund Awards  seek to support rising professional artists and to encourage the study and performance of German vocal repertoire.  Singers aged 21-32 should apply via the website:  saengerbundawards.org.  For more information write to germansinging2020@gmail.com. 

Deadline:  December 1, 2019. 

First Prize:  $5000.  Second Prize:  $2000.  Third Prize:  $1000.  Finalist Awards:  $750.  Travel stipend for semi-finalists.  Housing provided.  Adjudicators drawn from staffs of Houston Grand Opera, Metropolitan Opera, Opera Theatre of St Louis, Tulsa Opera, and others.
