Looking for a summer program in Italy geared towards pre-college applicants? The Centre for Opera Studies in Italy now offers an Academy program with an age limit of 18 alongside their established summer offering. The deadline to apply is February 1, 2013, and you can apply through the YAP Tracker online application process now.
The Young Patroness of the Opera (Florida Grand Opera) competition application is up for 2013! This competition, held every two years, offers the promise of both fame and fortune for the winners; prizes total $44,000, and many of the previous winners have gone on to stellar career paths. The competition will be held in Miami in April, and the deadline to apply is February 1.

Il Cuore Canta, now in its second year, is an all-scholarship program that will be held in the charming town of Cold Spring, NY. Each participant will receive frequent individual singing lessons with Deborah Carmichael, coachings and other training, and attendance will be free of charge to attendees. The deadline to apply is November 30, 2012.
