Opera Colorado’s Artist in Residence Program is designed to provide you with as many performance opportunities as possible as you move from emerging artists to principal artist. Each member of the Opera Colorado Artist in Residence Program has the incredible opportunity to perform and cover roles with one of the premier opera companies in the U.S. and travel the state of Colorado performing in touring productions. Artists receive individual coaching with world-class teacher, coaches, conductors, and directors to further their growth. Housing in beautiful Denver, CO is provided, and competitive pay gives each Artist in Residence the opportunity to enjoy Colorado to the fullest.

Applications will close at the end of this week for Mascarade Opera, an opera training and performance programme at the Mascarade Opera Foundation in Florence, Italy for exceptionally talented young singers and répétiteurs. Training provision is carefully structured around performance opportunities; through the programme's collaborations with major operatic houses across Europe, artists enjoy the unique prospect of translating what they have learnt into professional practice on stage. Places on the programme are entirely funded with artists receiving tuition, maintenance and accommodation grants equivalent to entry-level salaried positions in the industry.

Festival Napa Valley's Manetti Shrem Opera Program is a tuition-free intensive opera training program offering advanced study and performance opportunities for a small number of highly gifted and advanced vocalists and pianists in the idyllic setting of Napa Valley.  Program for pianists includes: —Training and private lessons with our faculty throughout the festival. —Performing in public masterclasses. —Playing lessons and coachings. —Playing staging rehearsals for the aria gala and scenes concert. —Performing orchestral piano, depending on the repertoire. Deadline approaching!  The Saengerbund Awards are given each year to young singers who have demonstrated the potential for a professional performing career.  All entries are evaluated by professional casting directors, coaches, and conductors from opera companies around the US and in Germany.  The quality of the video submissions is of high importance in the process, and the singer's German diction is a major component of the evaluation.  Creative selections are appreciated, and they do help the applicants stand out from the preliminary pool of entries.  German operetta is a particularly good source for young singers.  The Lied should come from the standard repertoire.  Either selection can be a German translation.   Questions:  germansinging2025@gmail.com
