Auditions for Pittsburgh Festival Opera's 2019 Summer Festival Season are coming up quickly! Come join us next summer as we perform Wagner's The Valkyrie, two operas by Mr. Fred Rogers, Puccini's Gianni Schicchi and Richard Strauss's The Love of Danae! "What attracted me to Pittsburgh Festival Opera was their emphasis on storytelling and audience inclusivity. The modern English translations break the barrier between performer and audience member, allowing for much more visceral theatrical experiences. Not only is Pittsburgh Festival Opera a forward-thinking, intimate opera company, it is a safe and nurturing environment filled with kind and supportive colleagues who genuinely want the best for each other." -Nicolette Mavroleon, 2018
