Application Deadline Nov 5: Opera North's 2022 Resident Artist Program!

This July, Opera North presents 3 imaginative productions, including Mozart's Cosi fan tutte and Verdi's La Traviata. Resident Artists are featured in all roles whenever possible. In addition, Resident Artists are featured in concerts with orchestra and special events. Said a reviewer last season, “Opera North opened its production of Puccini’s La Bohème Wednesday under its elaborate circus tent at Blow-Me-Down Farm and the capacity crowd couldn’t have seemed happier. The singers were young, beautiful, and passionate in their misery — all singing in English — the orchestra expert, and all was under the sure-handed baton of Music Director Louis Burkot.”
