The Verbier Festival Academy’s Atelier Lyrique is unique among voice programmes. Apply by October 15 for Opera Naples Resident Artists program, January 15-March 10, 2024 in Naples, Florida.  Perform principal and secondary roles in Madama Butterfly and Iolanthe, gaining invaluable  experience and training.   Perform in the Festival Under the Stars under the direction of Maestro Ramón Tebar alonside world renowned artists.   Resident Artists are regularly engaged in daily coachings, community concerts, masterclasses, and workshops.  They receive a stipend and local housing.

Festival Napa Valley's Manetti Shrem Opera Program is a tuition-free intensive opera training program offering advanced study and performance opportunities for vocalists and pianists from college to recent graduates in the idyllic setting of Napa Valley. Participants will study under the guidance of renowned faculty, guest artists, conductors and soloists. Performance opportunities include a semi-staged opera scenes performance with orchestra, a fully-staged opera performance (Mozart’s Die Entführung aus dem Serail), recitals, and more! Tuition: $0. New York Dramatic Voices is excited to announce our 2024 Wagner Winter Intensive. Each artist will work with stage director, Laura Alley (SFO, NYCO), music director, Matthew Lobaugh (WNO, LA Opera), and masterclass technician, Adrienne Boris (UIA); culminating in a staged public performance in the heart of Manhattan. This Winter's repertoire will be Das Rheingold, Scene 1, Parsifal, Act II, Tristan und Isolde, Act II, Scene 2. Each artist receives professional video of their performance. The next summer course of the INTERNATIONAL BELCANTO ACADEMY will take place in Theater Het Lichtruim in Bilthoven and will last three weeks.   In addition to intensive vocal and scenic training, the program consists of rehearsals for the performance of DON GIOVANNI by W.A. Mozart.   Because we will be working with two casts, the opera will be performed twice. We prefer to work with singers who not only sing well but are also interested in creating a convincing character. The theater expects a fully professional production.   The course is scheduled in the period from 4 to 25 August 2024. The United States Army Band “Pershing’s Own” announces vacancies for SOPRANO and ALTO VOCALISTS with the Army’s premier vocal ensemble, The United States Army Chorus. From its inception in 1956 to the present, The U.S. Army Chorus has established and maintained a reputation of musical excellence. Beyond the traditional military music and patriotic standards, Army Chorus repertoire covers a broad spectrum of genres to include pop, Broadway, folk, and classical music. Main duties include rehearsals and performances with The U.S. Army Chorus as ensemble member and soloist, as well as opportunities to be featured with the Concert Band, Orchestra, Strolling Strings, and other ensembles of The U.S. Army Band “Pershing’s Own”.
