Hawaii Performing Arts Festival is set in one of the world's most unique and inspiring settings, the Big Island of Hawaii. This summer, we will present L'incoronazione di Poppea and Little Women, the musical. Our outstanding faculty includes GRAMMY-winning Baroque specialist Stephen Stubbs as the conductor for Poppea, and the original Broadway cast Laurie, Danny Gurwin, as the stage director for Little Women. Participants are immersed in vocal lessons, musical coachings, dramatic coachings, and Hawaiian cultural exploration. Train with Joyce DiDonato at Carnegie Hall Thursday, October 10–Saturday, October 12. Joyce DiDonato returns to Carnegie Hall to lead a series of three master classes for young vocalists.
