Young Artists of America Classical: Voice presents a La Bohème Intensive with Annapolis Opera!

This intensive provides the rare opportunity to prepare, coach, and study cover a solo role in Puccini’s La Bohème and then put it on its feet in rehearsal with the Annapolis Opera & Annapolis Symphony on stage and on set at Maryland Hall.

January 2022: Preparing Puccini’s LA BOHÈME 

Train with leading practitioners as you prepare and coach a role from this iconic work.

Singers will have the unique opportunity to:

• Prepare and study cover a principal role in Puccini’s La Bohème with Annapolis Opera
• Sing excerpts from La Bohème under the baton of Maestro Craig Kier with the Annapolis Symphony during a cover sitzprobe onstage at Maryland Hall
• Six 45-minute private/group coachings with YAA faculty to prepare
• Collaborative studio class
• Piano rehearsal with the Maestro Craig Kier to prepare for your orchestra sitzprobe
• Access to music & staging rehearsals with principals and staff to make connections to working professionals
• Opportunity for select students to perform in the production as invited members of the Annapolis Opera Chorus in exchange for discounted tuition
