World-Renowned Torggler Summer Vocal Institute Open to rising high school sophomores, juniors and seniors, the Torggler Summer Vocal Institute (TSVI) at Christopher Newport University is a prestigious two-week residency program for emerging young singers who wish to train alongside award-winning performers like Patti LuPone, Lawrence Brownlee, Kelli O'Hara, Straight No Chaser and Bobby McFerrin, among others. TSVI addresses all aspects of vocal performance - skills in acting, stage movement, dance, yoga and preparing professional audition, plus seminars in time management and leadership.
