Consorzio Marche Spettacolo is pleased to announce the 1st edition of the International Opera Singing Competition "Concorso Lirico Internazionale Tebaldi-Gigli-Corelli", to be held from 12th to 17th March 2024 in the city of Pesaro, in occasion of its year as the Italian Capital of Culture.
The competition will take place inside Teatro Rossini and it will be chaired by a prime jury composed of the most relevant personalities representing the main Opera producers or promoters in the Marche region, with the chairmanship of the Superintendent and Artistic Director of Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Dominique Meyer.

APPLICATION:
The deadline for submitting the applications is set on 15th February 2024.
The competition is open to opera singers of all vocal registers and nationalities. For female
singers the age limit will be 32 years old, born after 1992. For male singers the age
limit will be 36 years old, born after 1987.
All candidates must send the following documents to the competition’s secretary office via e-mail (segreteria@marchespettacolo.it) no later than 15th February 2024:
1. a copy of your ID or passport (if non EU - or not a nationality allowed visa-free by Italian law - please send a copy of your visa or residency permit as well);
2. a recent picture of yourself;
3. a brief curriculum vitae (in Italian or English);
4. 2 videos of performances displaying opera arias (with no repertoire limitations) by two different authors and in two different languages. The videos must be uploaded on YouTube in unlisted mode (no WeTransfer) specifying the recording date and piano accompanist or the orchestra. The files must be live and not subjected to post-production. A full clean sound and good visibility of the candidate are recommended.
5. a scanned copy of the receipt showing the payment of the pre-selection fee, made by bank transfer (details included in the call document).
6. release for the publication of your images, videos, documents in pages, referred to in ANNEX 1 of the call, signed and filled in in its entirety.
Also, candidates must present six opera arias, to be performed by heart in key e original languages, complete with recitative and/or cabaletta (when provided); at least two must be chosen from the list of compulsory arias (listed at Point 8 of the call).
The complete list of all songs for pre-selections and selections must be inserted in the body text of the registration email.
PRIZES
First Prize: € 10.000 (ten thousand)
Second Prize: € 5.000 (five thousand)
Third Prize: € 3.000 (three thousand)
SPECIAL PRIZES
The jury reserves the right to propose contracts and auditions to the candidates of their liking.
