Apply by March 14: Schmidt Vocal Institute (SVI) 2022

The Schmidt Vocal Institute (SVI) nurtures and mentors the development of talented high school singers who wish to pursue studies in music performance or education. The curriculum focuses on training singers to have a healthy technique, improved musicianship, and outstanding performance skills.  

2022 Participants of SVI will receive:

• Master Classes or private coachings with distinguished guest faculty William Burden (Juilliard School/Mannes School of Music), Kayo Iwama (Bard Conservatory), and Dr. Katherine Jolly (Oberlin Conservatory)
• Private voice lessons and coachings with SVI Resident Faculty
  Courses in Acting, Lyric Diction, Vocal Health, Alexander Technique,  & more
• Two final public performances
• Ticket to Cincinnati Opera's La Bohème
