Admissions results will be sent on a rolling basis in the weeks following live auditions.
AGE REQUIREMENTS FOR ENROLLMENT
Minimum age is 18
SOA singers are typically between the ages of 19-36, but there are no age limits. We accept musicians on the basis of potential and the stage of musical development.
AUDITION & REPERTOIRE REQUIREMENTS
All auditions for 2021 will be recorded auditions: Please submit 2-3 arias relating to your desired role(s). Video is preferred but audio is accepted. Successful candidates submitting recorded auditions will be requested to participate in an online video interview. Invitations will be sent by email.
RESULTS
Successful candidates will be invited to a Skype interview by email in the weeks following auditions. Casting offers will be sent on a rolling basis.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE & FELLOWSHIPS
To apply for financial support, please include a brief letter of request at the time of your application and see SOA's "Apply" page for further details. Financial assistance is available in sums ranging from 500-3000 € and BOA offers a limited number of full-tuition fellowships.
