PARTNERS for the Arts 5th Annual Opera Awards Competition: Classical singers specializing in opera, under management or not, are invited to enter the Competition.
Application DEADLINE is approaching - February 17
The Competition will take place on April 7 and 8 in Alexandria, VA, just minutes away from mid-town Washington, D.C. Emerging Artist Awards – ages 25 to 35 - prizes ranging from $7,000 to $1,000. Promising Young Artist Awards – ages 21 to 24 - prizes ranging from $1,500 to $1,000.
Since 2013 PARTNERS for the Arts, Inc. has encouraged and promoted the career of emerging performing artists by sponsoring competitions and public presentations, promoted and interacted with performing arts organizations and schools of music in mutually beneficial activities, and collaborated with others to develop educational programs that nurture audience development and love of classical music and the arts.
Arts organizations such as Baltimore Lyric Opera, Baltimore Concert Opera, Opera Delaware, Maryland Lyric Opera, UrbanArias, Virginia Opera, Washington Concert Opera, The National Philharmonic of Strathmore, Young Artist of America, The Catholic University of America School of Music have partnered with PARTNERS for the Arts to better strengthen its mission.
