Deadline extended Mildred Miller International Voice Competition

The Mildred Miller International Voice Competition offers monetary prizes plus optional contracts for lead roles in its SummerFest 2015 productions. Repertoire includes:
- Giulio Cesare by Handel
- Capriccio by Strauss
- A New Kind of Fallout, world premiere Eco-opera by Gilda Lyons and Tammy Ryan
- Damn Yankees
Previous competition winners have taken lead roles in festival productions as diverse as The Magic Flute, Carmen, and Ariadne on Naxos, and have gone on to win the Metropolitan Opera National Finals and win contracts at the Met, Florida Grand, La Scala, The Paris Opera, Verona, Lausanne, Bern, and many more. Opera Theater also regularly extends repeat invitations to past winners to work with the festival in subsequent years.
