Opera Theater Pittsburgh Young Artist Training Program 2016: Deadlines extended and dates added!

New York and Cincinnati deadlines extended to 11/17!

Auditions added in Pittsburgh 12/5! Deadline to apply 11/28.

The 2016 SummerFest Young Artist Training Program auditions are underway! We offer a combined professional performing and training program that takes place in Pittsburgh for a minimum 4-6 weeks (depending on casting) from June 13 – July 24 2016. Four levels available: Resident, Featured, Young & Apprentice Artists with opportunities for solo performance for all participants.

Repertoire includes:
- Giulio Cesare by G. F. Handel
- Carmen the Gypsy by G. Bizet
- Die schweigsame Frau by R. Strauss
- Kiss Me, Kate by Cole Porter
- Night Caps, four comic operas by various composers
