APPLY NOW: OPERA NORTH 2026 RESIDENT ARTIST PROGRAM!

We are excited to announce auditions are open for our 2026 season. Shows under consideration for the season are The Ballad of Baby Doe, Fiddler on the Roof and La Cenerentola or L'Elisir d'Amore.

Auditions will be held in NYC, Boston, Chicago, Bloomington, Dallas, Houston, Atlanta and virtually during October and November. 

We have been preparing resident artists for the professional world of opera since 1982.  Soprano Jordan Lee Gilbert (seen here) as Susanna in Act 3 of Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro (Resident Artist 2025). Jordan is about embark on the National Broadway Tour of Phantom of the Opera as Christine.

The application deadlines vary by audition location.
