OPERA NORTH 2021 RESIDENT ARTIST PROGRAM: November 1 application deadline approaching!

Gain valuable performance experience as a Resident Artist with Opera North (Lebanon, NH), one of the nation's premier training opportunities for emerging artists! Our 2021 summer season includes Puccini's La Bohème, 'Extraordinary Women’ (a showcase of extended scenes from Baroque and modern opera), and a concert of opera and music theater selections with orchestra and circus artists, all under tents at Opera North's new outdoor art park at Blow-Me-Down Farm. Resident Artists will work closely with our acclaimed artistic and production teams. Some of the musical coaching will take place over Zoom prior to the artists' arrival at Opera North. Housing, travel, and stipend provided. Singers accepted for the program must be available at mutually-agreed upon times between June 27-July 15 for virtual coachings ahead of the three-week residency.

Applications are due November 1. Finalists will be invited to do a virtual audition/interview sometime between November 15 - November 22 and casting will be finalized by December 1.
