Perform in fully-staged operas with full orchestra, and work with internationally-renowned faculty in the beautiful city of Narni, Italy! We offer young artists the experience of a lifetime as they prepare and perform leading roles, supporting roles, and concert repertoire at numerous gorgeous concert halls, cathedrals, and the historic Teatro Communale di Manini of Narni, one of the national gems of the region of Umbria, Italy. Our visiting artists and faculty have worked at the world's most prestigious opera houses and concert halls and work one-on-one with young artists to "Train through Performance". We are thrilled to announce our 2018 Season and guest conductor Audrey Saint-Gil (Assistant conductor to Placidò Domingo and James Conlon at LA Opera, Royal Opera House) who will be conducting our 2018 production of Verdi's LA TRAVIATA.
The Narnia Festival is also excited to welcome guest artist: Internationally acclaimed British baritone Christopher Maltman, who will present a series of Master Classes as well as offer his guidance to the 2018 Vocal Arts Festival Artists.

Additional programs include a revised Concert Program with the candlelit performance of the Pergolesi Stabat Mater with String Quartet, conducted by Ms. Laetitia Ruccolo (Royal Opera House, Artistic Director: Bare Opera NYC), a grand gala Rossiniana conducted by Maestro Lorenzo Porzio (Celebrating the music of Giacchino Rossini) presented with full orchestra, as well as a new sacred concert of a Mozart Missa Brevis with the Narnia Festival Orchestra. We will also be returning to the township of Amelia for our traditional night of opera scenes and arias.
The Narnia Festival Vocal Arts Emerging Artist Program is open to singers of ALL AGES (High schoolers and collegiate singers encouraged to apply) and offers a unique opportunity for less-experienced singers to get ON STAGE with a FULL ORCHESTRA.
