The John Alexander National Vocal Competition: deadline October 31, 2024!

There’s still time to enter! Deadline October 31, 2024: For over a decade participants and winners of the John Alexander National Vocal Competition have gone to enjoy successful careers in opera and musical theatre. It’s a chance to sing for some of the leading casting and stage directors, win cash prizes, and build relationships that will last a lifetime.

Eight finalists will be chosen from virtual auditions, and invited to perform at the “Vibrations” The John Alexander National Vocal Competition Winners Concert on February 2, 2025 in Jackson, MS. Final prizes and placements will be announced at the concert. Monetary prizes for First Place are $1,200, Second Place $900. Housing and travel to and from Jackson covered by Opera Mississippi.
