WAGNERIAN/DRAMATIC SINGERS! The Miami Wagner Institute is an elite tuition-free Young Artist Program and the first of it’s kind for dramatic/lyric-in-transition singers led by pre-eminent Wagnerian performers, educators and specialists including Christine Brewer, Alan Held and Kathleen Kelly. This program aims to provide much-needed training and professional-level performance opportunities for the unique demands of the dramatic singer. Last summer's inaugural Miami Wagner Institute premiered to rave reviews, "words fall short to praise this presentation” (EL NUEVO HERALD), culminating in a sold-out performance at the New World Center with Christine Goerke and Alan Held, joined by Young Artist soloists and the MMF Symphony Orchestra.
