MEROLA OPERA PROGRAM - APPLICATION DEADLINE SEPTEMBER 22, 2021

MEROLA OPERA PROGRAM:  ONLY TWO MORE DAYS TO APPLY!

San Francisco: June 05, 2022 - August 20, 2022

2021-2022 Program includes:

·        Die Zauberflöte by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (full production with orchestra), sung in German with English dialogue

·        The Schwabacher Summer Concert (staged scenes program with orchestra) - highlighting music of Latinx and Spanish composers. All voice types considered for this program. Repertoire will be chosen to showcase participating artists.

·        A Celebration of American Song - a concert showcasing a vast array of American song repertoire.

·        The Merola Grand Finale (concert with full orchestra) - concert featuring all Merola singers. 

·        Every singer will be cast in the opera and/or the Schwabacher Summer concert.

·        Performance, training, and career development opportunitites for young professional singers, coach/pianists, and stage directors.  Each participant receives indivdidual coaching, classes in diction, acting and stage deportment, movement, financial planning, mental health/wellness, and public relations from leading professionals in the opera field.
