Mediterranean Opera Studio & Festival 2022: Final Deadline 5/15!

The beautiful Unesco sponsored city of Caltagirone, Sicily will host us again this Summer - a beautiful backdrop to intense vocal training at the highest level.

Studies will be for six weeks, from June 26  (Arrival) through August 8th (Departure).  Our entire focus will be on developing greater familiarity with what it takes to be a professional opera singer (EG. voice lessons, coachings, and significant practice time with orchestra.

Our successful instructors arrive from the Young Artists Programs of ROH Covent Garden, the Lindemann Program of The Met, Frankfurt Oper, Wien Staatsoper, and others. 

Our repertoire focus will be on 4 operas La Boheme, Gianni Schicchi, Suor Angelica, and Rigoletto.  

Details:

6 weeks intensive training in Caltagirone, Sicily.

Single room with bathroom cleaned daily, breakfast and lunch daily, weekly laundry service.

Company tourism on the Island included.

Teachers and Coaches from Covent Garden, Metropolitan Opera, Wiener Staatsoper, Oper Frankfurt, Glyndebourne, etc.

Repertoire: La Boheme, Gianni Schicchi, Suor Angelica, and Rigoletto.  No one competes for roles.  Once assigned to the role, you will not need to audition further.  You must arrive completely off-book.
