Full-scholarship summer program in Santa Barbara, CA, one of the most beautiful cities in the world. As both a school and festival, the Academy offers singers and pianists weekly private lessons with world-renowned faculty/visiting artists, and abundant performance opportunities including weekly public masterclasses and fellow recitals with large audiences, a fully-staged opera (Donizetti's Elixir of Love), an opera scenes production, and the Marilyn Horne Song Competition awarding one singer and one pianist each a $4,000 cash prize and recital tour. Innovative Wellness Program includes free weekly cardio, kickboxing, and yoga classes, & counseling services.
