Mascarade Opera Studio Programme 2020-21: deadline approaching!

Mascarade Opera Studio is now accepting applications to audition for the 2020-21 Programme. Set in the heart of Florence, Italy, our nine-month fully funded high-ability training programme in opera is designed to support singers and répétiteurs of exceptional talent at the initial stages of their career. Our team consists of internationally renowned singers, vocal coaches, vocal consultants, conductors, stage directors and industry representatives, with attention to detail at the core of all training offered at Mascarade Opera Studio.

Our teaching approach is based on four core pillars: technical mastery, artistry, acting and performance psychology. Each of these areas is developed intensely in the nine-month programme and is tailored to every studio artist’s individual needs. Additionally, our programme strikes a fine balance between selected performance opportunities, in the form of recitals, masterclasses, competitions, auditions and orchestral showcases, and continuing professional development, providing enhanced opera skills training for both singers and répétiteurs. With its detailed nine month programme, international outlook and studio enrichment programme, MOS offers a distinctively different approach to opera training.

Applications close 21st October 2019, with auditions taking place over November and December 2019 in Florence, Berlin, London, Glasgow and New York.
