Auditions for the 2020 Manhattan Opera Studio: Apply now!

The Manhattan Opera Studio will be holding auditions for the 2020 Summer Festival.

The MOS Summer Festival is the first Summer Program of its kind in Manhattan. All the selected singers will have the opportunity to perform a fully staged opera with orchestra. Selected singers will participate in an aria and opera scenes concert at the Bruno Walter Auditorium in the prestigious Lincoln Center, masterclasses with some of the most prestigious agents of New York City, feedback auditions with conductors of the Metropolitan Opera House, and coachings in music and diction.

Candidates for the 2020 MOS Summer Festival must send a headshot and a resume to coordinator@manhattanoperastudio.org and submit the non-refundable application fee. Please indicate what roles and operas you are interested in.

Age limit: 36 years old 

The MOS summer festival is open to singers of all nationalities.

Applicants who cannot come to New York City for a live audition will be requested to send a video with two contrasting arias.

All auditions will be held at the McKay Hall of The National Opera Center (330 7th Avenue, New York, NY).

In order to be considered for a specific audition date, please send your request to coordinator@manhattanoperastudio.org. You must submit your materials and application fee at least 4 days prior to the audition date you would prefer to attend.

Audition Fee: 35 Dollars (Early bird by 11/10/19 28 Dollars)

Tuition
$2,950 The tuition includes all the courses and activities of the 2020 MOS Summer Festival.
