AND RÉPÉTITEURS/OPERA COACHES

Enrollment is now open for admissions to the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Academy | Opera di Firenze

Enrollment deadline: May 10, 2017

Selections:
- opera singers: June 14-17, 2017
- répétiteurs/opera coaches: June 8-10, 2017

Objectives of the course
The objective of the course is the advanced vocational training of opera singers and répéti-teurs/opera coaches.  Participants will be given the opportunity to attend lessons of highly quali-fied specialization, aimed at the advancement of their technical, stylistic, interpretive and scenic skills and the expansion of cultural knowledge necessary to practice the profession.

Duration of the Course
Courses will run from November 2017 through June 2018, with a possible extension for activities of work experience until October 2018.

Registration fee for selection:  Euro 80,00

Age limits:
- opera singers: born on or after January 1, 1984
- répétiteurs/opera coaches: born on or after January 1, 1987

Registration fee and attendance of the course: Enrollment and attendance of the course are free.

Benefits:
All candidates admitted will be awarded a scholarship equal to Euro 800,00 gross per month, from November 2017 to June 2018. Additional prizes may be established by the Direction of the Academy in agreement with the Artistic Direction of Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino/Opera di Firenze.

Productions:
The Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino/Opera di Firenze and the affiliated musical institu-tions may offer the young artists title or cover roles in operas and concerts in their season programs.
