Individually tailored instruction by internationally acclaimed faculty: Jerusalem International Opera Masterclass 2018

 The 4th edition of the Jerusalem International Opera Masterclass is reopening its doors again this year with a perfect blend of tradition and innovation. This year, the event continues to search for important innovation by presenting the JYPAOF – Jerusalem Young Professional Artists Opera Festival.

Young Professional Artists perform major and minor roles in mainstage operas with renowned conductors, stage directors and guest artists. The 2018 festival season includes fully staged opera productions with an orchestra of W.A.Mozart's "Don Giovanni" and G.Verdi's "La Traviata", the concert "Magic Operetta", "La Rossini, all' Opera", Gala concert with orchestra, a concert of Romantic Music.  The quality of the JIOM faculty is unmatched by any YAP and include professionals from the Metropolitan Opera, the Paris Opera, Teatro Alla Scala, the Vienna State Opera, the Israeli Opera.  Training includes individual and group vocal and repertoire coaching,  open Master Classes, auditions for agents for individualized feedback and the Jerusalem International Opera Competition. The main goal of the Competition is to assist the career development of talented young singers. Through several rounds, a jury consisting of internationally renowned opera conductors, singers and casting associates from some of the world's top opera houses judge the participants' efforts.
