The Halifax Summer Opera Festival 2024: preliminary deadline November 24, 2023!

The Halifax Summer Opera Festival marks our 17th season with a four-week program for singers wishing to focus on core performance skills in a supportive and artist-centred environment. Join us in beautiful Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada in the summer of 2024 and learn or polish stagecraft, language skills, acting, interpretation and professional collaboration in the context of rehearsing and performing a role in The Consul or Giulio Cesare in Egitto.

We'll support your work with Alexander Technique classes, coachings, masterclasses, extra concerts and personal attention from professionals whose goal is to help you get to the next stage in your journey and connect or reconnect you to the passion of performance.

All auditions will be digital. Preliminary Deadline Nov 24, 2023, although role offers will be made on an ongoing basis into the new year.
