Summer Opera Program of the German Vocal Arts Institute (GVAI)

July 28 - August 12, 2018

If you want to improve your singing in German and add a new role with dialogues to your CV, train with GVAI in the US. Sing in a semi-staged production of the Magic Flute and in a recital of Lieder and opera and operetta arias. 
You will study with a passionate faculty of professionals working currently in Germany and the US and we will prepare you to sound as close to a native German singer as possible. If you are interested in auditioning in Germany, we'll teach you how to apply for agencies, theaters and schools.
GVAI creates a nurturing environment. Beginners in German are welcome.

Application requirements:
Please submit your application and recordings online.
- CV / Résumé
- Headshot
- Video recordings
- Letter of Motivation (Tell us about your motivation, goals and wishes for GVAI's summer program.)
- recording of two contrasting arias, and one of them should be an aria/art song in German (Mozart preferred)
