The Harold Haugh Light Opera Vocal Competition: deadline 2/19/22!

The Harold Haugh Light Opera Vocal Competition has returned for 2022! 

It has no top age limit, and is open to all singers who are not professionally represented (under management) or have not worked fulltime as a professional singer. The competition is intended to promote light opera and to showcase the ability to act and sing.  

The competition will be held Saturday, March 19, 2022), from 10 am to 5 pm in the Jackson Symphony Hall, Jackson, MI. The finals will held in the same location, starting at 7:30 pm. All singers will receive comments from the judging panel.

First Place: $3000; Second place: $2000; Third place: $1000. All other finalists will win $300; Audience favorite: $300; Young Singer Award: $300. Enter: comicoperaguild.org
