Canto Vocal Programs 2024: apply now!

Canto Vocal Programs is now receiving applications for Summer 2024!  Since 2015 Canto has helped hundreds of singers from all over the world take the next step in their careers. In addition to programs in Europe, Canto is offering its biggest program yet in the U.S, returning to Northern Virginia for a full production of Le Nozze di Figaro with a youth orchestra. The show will have a double cast, with performances on August 3 and 4.

This is an opportunity to prepare a role with a world class production team of conductor (Lucy Arner), stage director (Sharon Mohar) and vocal coach (Liora Maurer) from the Metropolitan Opera and Les Maîtres Sonneurs (France). Joining us as guest faculty is conductor and coach Ken Weiss from Washington National Opera and the WNO Cafriz young artist program.

We are very excited to welcome a special guest artist, world reknowned mezzo - Jamie Barton, presenting two masterclasses followed by a Q&A. 

Master classes with canto's faculty, individual music, language and dramatic coachings, Italian diction and acting classes will be offered throughout the program. Canto will be also offering classes focusing specifically on how to achieve peak performance.
