Application deadline extended to April 20: Canto Louisville 2022

Since 2015 Canto has helped hundreds of singers from all over the world take the next step in their careers. Canto returns to Louisville for its 2022 summer program, an intensive 3-weeks focused on all aspects of performance. Gianni Schicchi and scenes from La Bohème will conclude the program. The goal of the program is to offer clear tools and develop the skills needed by today’s opera professional. Application deadline extended to April 20.

Singers will be working daily with international faculty from the Metropolitan Opera, Les Maîtres Sonneurs, Mannes School of Music and New England Conservatory/Boston University. Students will work on music, language, style and acting. Canto’s European program in Zagreb is also open for application.
