Application deadlines are through 11:59 pm Eastern Time
Admissions results will be sent on a rolling basis in the weeks following live auditions.
AGE REQUIREMENTS FOR ENROLLMENT
Minimum age is 18
BOA singers are typically between the ages of 19-36. Exceptions can be made on a case by case basis, as some roles/productions require more mature voices.
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
Accompanist will be provided, though applicants are welcome to bring their own.
REPERTOIRE REQUIREMENTS
Please prepare 2-3 arias relating to your desired role(s). Accompanist will be provided, though applicants are invited to provide independent accompanists.
Recorded Auditions: Applicants may submit a recorded audition in lieu of a live audition. Please submit 2 arias relating to your desired role(s). Video is preferred but audio is accepted.
Successful candidates submitting recorded auditions will be requested to participate in an online video interview. Invitations will be sent by email.
RESULTS
Successful candidates will be invited to a Skype interview by email in the weeks following auditions. Casting offers will be sent on a rolling basis.
SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE & FELLOWSHIPS
To apply for financial support, please include a brief letter of request at the time of your application. Financial assistance is available in sums ranging from 500-3000 € and BOA offers a limited number of full-tuition fellowships. Please specify exactly the amounts of scholarship for which you are applying.
