Deadline nearing - applications for Agrippina
We are still looking for main roles to be cast.
The role of Nerone is still vacant (can be sung by tenor,soprano or contralto).
Cost: €1450 incl. lodging

The International Belcanto Academy’s Music Academy – 9th Season the IBA Summer course 2020 will entail three weeks of intensive training. The course will include: individual voice lessons, drama training, rehearsals with conductor, audition training, role study and staging of Agrippina by Handel. This will be performed in Het Lichtruim Theater in De Bilt, The Netherlands. 
We offer young upcoming professional singers a possibility to further their knowledge of opera singing and work on opera repertoire. In our next program 2020 we will focus on baroque music, as well as classical opera repertoire studies. 
The coaches of the International Belcanto Academy support the new generation of singers in furthering their careers by offering them their expertise and advice.
Belcanto and Baroque are joined together with expert teachers.
Furthermore, we will offer audition training, role interpretation, stage performance and career coaching.
Our Academy team is working together every summer on a summer course and opera production

• Agrippina (soprano)
• Nerone (contralto, mezzo-soprano, countertenor, tenor)
• Poppea (soprano)
• Ottone (contralto, mezzo-soprano)
• Pallante (bass)
• Narciso (contralto, mezzo-soprano)
• Lesbo (bass)
