Was your summer festival cancelled? Join us for the VIVA Festival! The Virtual Intensive Vocal Academy presented by Opera Project Columbus provides an opportunity for opera singers continue to work on their craft remotely with internationally-renowned faculty. These five classes will address far more than singing, focusing on practical aspects of a singer's career. The instructors—Ed Bak, Wendy Taucher, Giuseppe Filianoti, Devon Cass, and Emilio Pons—will give each give an hour-long class on topics such as the music of language, creating characters, details of Italian text and recitative, visual presentation, and tricks for auditioning in Europe. The Eurasia Festival Virtual Opera Institute will offer singers from all over the world a unique opportunity to study roles from Tchaikovsky’s operas.   Auditions are NOT required.
