During the course, Teatro alla Scala invites students to attend opera rehearsals and performances and gradually involves them directly in stage, while the course already provides numerous occasions for visibility, specific auditions with agents, orchestra conductors, and artistic directors of major theatres. This summer's dates in the Czech Republic are June 17th to July 17th. Members of our 2023 Opera Academy will perform an abridged, fully staged version of Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte in Tabor, Czech Republic. Performance with string quartet and piano, featuring innovative staging by director Gayle Shay from Vanderbilt University. Academy members will also serve in the ensemble for Estates Theatre productions.
