Chicago Summer Opera is now accepting applications for the Summer 2015 season. They will be mounting productions of Puccini's Suor Angelica and Britten's A Midsummer Night's Dream to be performed in fully staged productions. Ravinia's Steans Music Institute is the Ravinia Festival’s professional studies program for young musicians; the Program for Singers exists to promote the art of song, focusing on the central repertoire of German, French, English, and American art song. Everyone accepted for the program receives a full fellowship covering all Institute activities, housing, most meals and intercampus transportation. Applications are open until October 24, but as always, we recommend you apply early!
