Note to non-iPhone users

Over the last year we have seen considerable traffic from mobile sources and began to look into providing access to YAP Tracker in a more mobile friendly way.

What we discovered surprised us: 80-85% of mobile traffic to our website is via an Apple device (iPad or iPhone). Andriod supported devices represent about 10% and other platforms (windows, blackberry etc.) make up the remaining. 

When we started working on this project we started to explore a mobile friendly version of the website (one that you would simply access via your mobile browser). Unfortunately we found the experience to be slow and frustrating. We then decided to built a native app for the iPhone so that we can provide an offering for the large % of users who have iPhones. 

We know that the delay in creating a product usable on non-iPhone smartphones is frustrating for Android and other users; please be assured that we will continue to monitor the mobile traffic on the website and adoption of the iPhone app over the coming months and decide later in the year whether to built an app for additional platforms (or revisit a mobile friendly website). 

YAP Tracker is a small company with limited resources so we must proceed carefully before building something as significant as a new app. We hope that you can understand and thank you for your patience.
