Thank you for your interest in auditioning for the Young Artists Program at the Glimmerglass Festival.
The audition will be held Monday, March 4, in New York City.
Members of the Young Artists Program sing principal and supporting roles, cover all roles in mainstage productions (except where noted), sing in the chorus, are presented in concerts and cabarets, receive weekly coachings, participate in master classes, and perform in the community. Young Artists will also have the privilege of working with 2013 Artists in Residence, Nathan & Julie Gunn.
Applicants for Glimmerglass Festival's Young Artists Program must be fully available to the company from May 28 through August 24, 2013. Applicants must be United States citizens or have the right to work in the United States. Non-U.S. citizens must send a photocopy of documentary proof of right to work.
Please note that the Young Artists Program has two tracks: opera and musical theater.
This audition is for musical theater positions and applicants must have extensive dance training/experience.
