Studio Artist Program Designed for young singers who want to build their technical abilities and repertoire with a maximum of individualized attention. Singers receive two lessons/week, Alexander Technique, private coachings, private afternoon master classes with our resident faculty, two performance projects, and attendance at all Professional Program master classes. Generally entering college freshmen and sophomores. *Entering high-school seniors over 18 who demonstrate significant promise for a professional career in classical music may be accepted in exceptional cases.

Young Artist Program Designed for singers who have a solid technical basis which allows them to focus on interpretation and singing-acting. Singers receive one lesson/week, Alexander Technique, private coachings, a curriculum dedicated to singing-acting, a seminar on "Producing your own recital", private afternoon master classes with our senior faculty, two performance workshops, and may receive limited opportunities to perform in Professional Program master classes and concerts. Generally singers who are entering juniors or seniors or beginning graduate studies.

Pianist Program for pianists with a special interest in vocal collaboration.

Singers: Prepare two art songs in two different languages and an aria (aria is optional for Studio Artist program). Applicants are encouraged to include a song in English as part of their selections, Optional: you may prepare a fourth selection that highlights a special interest. (musical theater, oratorio, new-music, etc.)

Pianists: Prepare four selections – two art songs in contrasting style and two other works of your choice - arias or additional songs; one of these may be a solo work. Minimum number of selections permitted: 3. Maximum number of selections permitted: 4

Fee Disclosure and Signature

A non-refundable $500 housing or commuter fee deposit (which will be credited to the balance of fees) is due two weeks after acceptance into the program. Housing/meal costs are due in full by March 15th; tuition is due in full by April 8th. A partial refund of $1000 will be given on housing/meals if notified IN WRITING and received by April 1st. After April 1st, no refunds will be given for any reason on any portion of the fees (tuition, housing/meals), including the non refundable $500 deposit.
