SongFest 2013 Professional, Young Artist, Intern, and Mentor Program Applications

Live Auditions:

Application deadlines are one week before the requested audition date. To be considered for a Stern Fellowship, you MUST have a live audition. Acceptance notification will be via email by March 8, 2013 or earlier. Upon acceptance, a non-refundable $500 tuition deposit is due by March 22, 2013 (received) or 2 weeks after acceptance whichever date comes first.

Audition Requirements/Selections

Audition Selections*

Professional and Young Artist Singers:
Please prepare at least 3 contrasting selections of your own choice. One must be an art song, the others: aria, oratorio, musical theatre, or additional art songs. One piece in English is required. If you wish to be considered for "The American SongBook Concert" with John Musto, piano, a musical theatre selection is required.

Intern Singers:
Please prepare 2 contrasting selections of musical style and language of your choice. One must be in a foreign language. One musical theatre selection is acceptable. Please type "N/A" for the final field.

Pianists:
Please prepare 4 contrasting selections of your choice showing your strengths and versatility. You may choose art songs, arias, or oratorio.
