Whether you are a classical singer looking for cross training, or a musical theatre performer wanting to learn new skills, or grow your current ones, our new 5 week intensive focuses on just that!

TWO references are required for a first-time applicant. Only one reference is required for returning 2025 participants. One reference should come from the applicant’s main instructor. A second may be provided by a voice coach, conductor, opera stage director, general director or other artistic professional.

MUSICAL THEATRE PERFORMERS 5-WEEK INTENSIVE

Dates: May 26-June 29, 2025

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:

One song from each of the following eras:

The Golden Age (1943-1965)(Composers such as Rodgers and Hammerstein, Lerner and Loewe, Bock and Harnick, etc.)
A contrasting Musical Theatre selection written after 1965
A 1-2 minute monologue or poem (Classical or contemporary)

Applications received after the deadline will be accepted, but opportunities for role placements may be limited.

10 DAY OPERATIC INTENSIVE

The Ten-Day Development Program is designed to offer participants in the operatic genre a shorter program to experience the intensive environment for which NUOVA has garnered an esteemed reputation.

10 Day Audition Requirements:

Two song selections from the Classical or Music Theatre repertoire

All applicants will be considered on the basis of the videos shared on this application. No live auditions will be held for the 2025 program.

REMINDER- If you wish to apply for a bursary or scholarship, the application MUST be submitted with your audition package. Bursary & Scholarships form can be found here:
