Mary Ragland Emerging Artist Program (2024-2025)

The 2025 Mary Ragland Emerging Artists will have the opportunity to appear in the January mainstage production of Gilbert & Sullivan's H.M.S. Pinafore. Potential roles include: Josephine Corcoran, Cousin Hebe, Ralph Rackstraw, Bill Bobstay. They will then perform at Nashville Opera's black-tie gala, La Bella Notte, as featured soloists. Emerging Artists will then headline the Nashville Opera On Tour education production, which travels to schools across Middle Tennessee. They additionally will cover roles in Lucia di Lammermoor, the season's closing production.

The accompanist serves as the Tour Coordinator for the education tour production, performs at various recitals and concert appearances, and assists with coaching for singers during the residency, in addition to being rehearsal pianist for H.M.S. Pinafore and additional production of Lucia di Lammermoor.
