Prelude to Performance Young Artist Program Singers 2015

The Martina Arroyo Foundation's Prelude to Performance young artist program will be held in New York City from May 31 to July 13, 2015. Prelude is Tuition-Free and is now offering stipends from $3000 for major roles and covers to $1500/$750 for smaller roles.
The operas for this summer are Puccini's, Madama Butterfly and Donizetti's, La Fille du Régiment, fully staged/costumed with orchestra at the Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College. For those auditioning for Cio-Cio San, present "Che tua madre"; Pinkerton, "Addio, Fiorito asil"; For Marie, "Chacun le sait" ; for Tonio, "Ah! Mes amis". For other roles please present at least one aria in the language and style of the opera for which you are auditioning. Be prepared to present a total of 4 arias.

We do accept audio/video auditions in cases where there is either scheduling problems or financial hardship. Please submit good quality video/audio URL( You Tube). MP3 files are also permitted. Do not alter the sound on either the audio or video!
