2019/20 Barbara and Halsey Sandford Studio Artist Program Application: SINGERS

Kentucky Opera is auditioning for the 2019/2020 Studio Artist Program. Studio Artists participate in main stage productions covering roles, performing comprimario roles, and singing in the chorus. Studio Artists participte in masterclasses with guest artists, the Composer Workshop, perform principal roles in a semi-staged touring production, and engage in additional Studio Artist programming.

KO is looking for a Studio Artist soprano, mezzo-soprano, tenor and baritone to have in residency for the full season. We encourage bel canto and Mozart arias in Italian and German as primary audition languages. Season programming will not be released until January, 2019. All repertoire is subject to change.

The program begins in August, 2019 and runs through February 2020, with a winter break.
