Fort Worth Opera Lesley Resident Artist Program Auditions 2022-23

Please note: as of November 6, all live audition slots have been filled. Applications will remain open for virtual audition applicants only.

Artists must submit an application, current PDF copy of resume, headshot, two recorded arias of contrasting style (audio and/or video), and proof of COVID-19 vaccination.

Auditions will be held in New York City on December 1-5. A live audition is not guaranteed, and the preliminary recordings are necessary if you wish to be considered for a live audition. A pianist will be provided by Fort Worth Opera for all live auditions, or you may choose to bring your own.

December 1-4 auditions will be exclusively for Fort Worth Opera; however, singers chosen for December 5 will be auditioning for both Fort Worth Opera and Shreveport Opera. All singers chosen to audition for Shreveport Opera (December 6-8) will also be auditioning for Fort Worth Opera and do not need to submit a second application.
